As a Sr. Manager Sales - MICE you are responsible to implement all sales activities and maximize business opportunities in your specific area of responsibility. The role involves implementing and executing all sales action plans and will include key responsibilities such as:

· Develops and execute a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
· New Customer Acquisition through relationship building and corporate visits
· Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed set targets
· Maximize up selling opportunities by proposing additional events and activities suitable and complimenting to the MICE booking
· Ensure that all necessary information about the event is obtained either from account manager or from the client directly prior to the preparation of an offer
· Building relationships with Corporates to generate business.
· Ensuring group files profitability by overseeing group file operations and guiding the team to do it in an organised way
· Relationship Management strengthening business.
· Generation of Corporate MICE business by identifying potential clients
· Handle corporate presentations, documents, proposals and meet expectations
· Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
· Manage and keep hunting for more whale-sized accounts that is profitable
· Escalation management.
· Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
· Prepare Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports of the business activities.
· Good product knowledge on Destinations and MICE group operations. Strong MICE Corporate
· Experience and market relations.
· Well-spoken and smart individual
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should be holding a degree in sales and minimum three years post graduate work experiences, ideally within the MICE, Events, Online Portals or hotel industry. You must be computer literate with excellent presentation skills and highly sophisticated communication skills, written and oral with proficiency in English is essential and any other language skills beside will be an asset.
