Bank Services COE team, part of Global Treasury Operations, is responsible for collaborating with Business partners, Banks, and Regional Treasury Cash & FX Mgt teams in managing AXP's global banking infrastructure. The team is responsible for ensuring optimal banking infrastructure and compliance with internal Amex Policies and standards. Purpose of the Role The position is responsible for project management of continuous process enhancement projects for Treasury Bank Services team and ownership of certain global reporting that team is responsible for. The role includes delivery of projects for Treasury solutions by translating Business requirements into build configuration, end-to-end testing, training, documentation, implementation, and change management. Additionally, the role will be responsible for few Bank Service operational activities and provide BCP backup support to APAC Cash Management team as part of wider APAC Global Treasury Operations (GTO) responsibilities. Responsibilities:
• Support Strategic & Change Management Projects.
• Analyze the Bank Compensation Pricing to ensure adherence to bank service agreements and find opportunities to save at blue box level.
• Maintain entity corporate banking documentation and partner with banking institutions to ensure Treasury contracts are executed and updated in bank records.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implementing the best solution to reduce bank fees and towards process improvements.
• Manage the Bank Services PRSA controls & testing and supporting external Audits and Regulatory exams.
• Manage Basel static cash submission including research of bank account and ledger inconsistencies.
• Support user access administration for few Banking portals.
• Provide backup support for Bank Services operational activities that includes: Effectively managing bank account infrastructure and setting up of services for business transactions. Maintaining global static data in Treasury Management System. Supporting Business Units with payments and banking products' subject matter expertise.
• Provide BCP backup support to APAC Cash Management team being part of wider APAC Global Treasury Operations (GTO) team. Shift Timing: 1130am to 730 pm or 130pm to 930pm (flexible) Qualifications:
• 6-8 years of progressive business and/or consulting experience, with 5-6 years of mandatory experience in Finance or Treasury or In-house Banking verticals in a Corporate or Shared Service center.
• Good understanding of Treasury technologies and Corporate Banking landscape.
• Post-Graduate in Finance or Economics; CA or MBA preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of banking/payment operations and transaction banking products and services including electronic money movement infrastructure and channels will be very valuable.
• Experience of managing change/consulting to clients on transforming banking operations will be very valuable.
• Experience in leading Projects with good Stakeholder and Project Management skills.
• Advanced Excel & Power Point skills is a MUST.
• Thought leadership experience in Finance or Treasury knowledge & technologies preferred. Exposure to consulting assets, methodologies or research is preferred.
• Analytical skills to provide clarity to complex issues and gather data-driven insights.
• Knowledge of advanced analytical tools- SQL/HIVE/Python or Machine Learning.
